Accreditation

The 21st International EAUN Meeting is an ideal platform for disseminating the latest research results and practical clinical knowledge among urology nursing professionals. Delegates attending this meeting have a unique opportunity to  compose their own programme for professional development.

An application for accreditation for the 3-day meeting and the hands-on training and workshops on Friday will be sent to the Accrediting Agency of the Quality Register Nurses & Nurse Assistants and the Register of Health Care Professionals (Accreditatiebureau Kwaliteitsregister V&V en Register Zorgprofessionals) in the Netherlands and also the Accrediting Agency of the Specialist Nurses Register (Accreditatiebureau Verpleegkundig Specialisten Register) in the Netherlands. In 2019 the points were as follows: Hands-on training on Friday: 4 points; Day 1 Saturday: 6 points; Day 2 Sunday: 6 points; Day 3 Monday 4 points. Total points for the 3-day meeting: 16 points.

Accreditation of educational activities is of utmost importance as an opportunity for the delegates to collect credit points if this is required in their country. The Dutch credit points will be mentioned on the Certificate of Attendance and can be used as proof for the accrediting bodies in other countries.

If you are aware of accreditation possibilities for international meetings for (urology) nurses in your country, please send an email to eaun@uroweb.org.
