Travelling by Public Transportation

Madrid is well-connected through its public transport system which is safe, affordable, and reliable. There are various ways to get around: the metro, train, bus or taxi. Here is some travel advice on how to get to the congress venue (IFEMA Madrid) via public transportation.


Travelling from or to the Airport

The Madrid-Barajas Airport airport is just ten minutes away from the venue.

Transfer from the airport:

  • Taxi: There are many taxi stops at every terminal.
  • Metro: The Metro line 8 Nuevos Ministerios connects with two Metro stations at the airport: “Aeropuerto T1 – T2 – T3” and “Aeropuerto T4”.
  • Bus: There are many urban bus routes operated by the Municipal Transport Company (EMT), as well as interurban buses.
  • Interurban train: The T4 terminal connects Madrid with many interurban trains, located in the -1 floor of this terminal.

Travelling by Metro / Subway to IFEMA

 

The metro stop near the main entrance of EAUN25 at the IFEMA is Station Feria de Madrid, Metro Line 8 (pink) to Aeropuerto T-4, with exits at the South Entrance to the Venue.

Travelling by Taxi / Uber / Car

There are a lot of taxis in Madrid and at every major metro station, there are taxi stands. The IFEMA has taxi ranks laid out to facilitate the arrival and departure of visitors.
The South, North and East Entrances to the fairgrounds provide direct access to the different parking areas. Parking is available at the Exhibition Centre and Municipal Palace.
