HOT Course for Nurses

The EAUN has developed a Hands-on-Training (HOT) course, in partnership with the ESU.

ESU/EAUN Hands-on Training Course for nurses in Flexible cystoscopy
Date:         Monday, 8 April, 08.30 – 12.00 hrs.
Location: Blue Area, HOT 1

A flexible cystoscopy course aimed at urological nurses, introducing a comprehensive foundation of knowledge required to complete training. Including the opportunity for some practical training with flexible cystoscopes and allowing participants to start training locally, guided by appropriately trained urologists skilled in cystoscopy.

Learning objectives

  • Understanding enhanced skills for nurses
  • Review of anatomy and physiology of the bladder
  • How to perform modular learning and gaining competencies in flexible cystoscopy
  • Patient Consent process
  • Understanding the flexible cystoscope
  • Hands-on training – using scopes with models

Description target audience:  Urology nurses who have an interest in becoming nurse cystoscopists

If you have already registered for EAUN24 and would like to register for a HOT course later, please go to the online registration system. In your registration overview click on the button book extras. The payment can be made by bank transfer or online by credit card.

Accreditation
The courses take place within the programme, and the CNE credits are also included in the credits on the EAUN24 certificate.

The congress certificates are available for download from the website after the congress. Your personal certificates can be accessed with your barcode or MyEAU log in details.
