Awards
Every year during the Annual European Association of Urology Nurses meeting, prestigious awards and prizes are handed out to deserving nurses in urology. Here is a look at this year’s recipients.
Ronny Pieters Award Winner
In the Plenary Session at the EAUN21 Virtual Meeting, September 2021, the second Ronny Pieters Award was handed out to an EAUN Member who has significantly contributed to the development of urological nursing in Europe. Congratulations to Mrs. Rita Willener, recipient of the Ronny Pieters Award 2020.
The third Ronny Pieters Award will be handed out in the first Plenary Session of EAUN22 in Amsterdam on Saturday, 2 July, the Abstract Prizes and the Prize for the Best EAUN Nursing Research Project will be handed out in the Award Session on Monday, 4 July.

Nominations for the Ronny Pieters Award for the EAUN23 Meeting can be submitted to the EAUN from 1 September until the deadline of 1 November 2022.

During EAUN21, the EAUN Chair will hand out four Best Poster Presentation Awards and one Prize for the Best EAUN Nursing Research Project Plan. Science-oriented posters and Practice-development oriented poster presentations are rated separately.
For both categories two prizes are available, a first and a second prize. The awards are a vital acknowledgement of the fact that the international urological nursing community is progressive and continues to push the level of clinical practice in urology nursing today.
